New Diabetes White Paper published by Res Consortium and University of Manchester
The burden of disease from diabetes is an issue of growing concern both globally and nationally. A collaboration between Res Consortium, The University of Manchester and Napp created a focused study of diabetes trends in NHS England and sought to test and recommend value for money interventions that commissioners could take to combat the progression and spread of the illness within their locality, network or region. The Diabetes White Paper links populaion health data to best practice outcomes, and provides a 'next-steps' guide to commissioners. The 'next-steps' for the White Paper is a review of outcomes from guideance implemented into practice.
